Thanksgiving

First, and i know i am a day late.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

i had a good thanksgiving. but before i tell you about it i have to tell you about the weather. tuesday we had fog in the morning so thick i could not see but half of the parking lot at work. and sitting by a window i see the parking lot all day. it was not until late morning that i could see the Hi-way by my work that is about 100 yards away. but the day cleared up and it was 70 degrees that day. wednesday was cold and windy and it snowed high about 30 degrees. thanksgiving morning i am out side playing football in the snow and it is in the teens. it was freezing cold. my team did not win nor did we care our teams of 7 on 7 were out there only to have fun. i was rushing and blocking all through the game. i sacked the QB twice, and that was fun. i through 2 guys out of my way sending them flying through the air. luckily no one got serious hurt. but i am still sore.

after football i came home and woke up the kids and we went to a friends house to have thanksgiving dinner. i had to bring green been casserole. we all had a good time, there was about 20 of us there. the food was good and the fellowship was great even if we did just sit and watch football. i have to make a disclaimer here, i do not like to watch football, but it is the only thing to do in Nebraska at particular times of the year. with that having been said i am also going to my first ever live college football game this Saturday with a group of friends. i have never been to a pro, college, or even a high school game.

so after the dinner and football i and the kids went home to chill. and my daughter had cooking homework to do so her and i made carrot cake muffins from scratch and frosting. they were very good and we made a double batch. i sent the majority of them home with the kids to there mothers. i really don't need that sort of thing around her taunting me. after dropping off the kids, i came home and watch a movie called shopgirl. it was interesting, it stared Steve Martin, Clare Danes, and Jason Schwartzman. it was very slow and a lot of sex, very little nudity. but it was kind of weird. so that was thanksgiving.

New Job Update Update

so tomorrow is the 5th day on the new job. and thus far i am loving it. the work is a blend of email request and issues to answering phones and creating tickets. yesterday i took my first phone call and today i was on the phone all day. it is really refreshing to come into work and not feel stressed out about what i have to do. it is also nice to work with a group of guys that are fun to be around. and for the first time i went to a job where i knew most of the people on the team. the team is a total of 8 agents and a supervisor. and 4 of the 8 guys on the team i work with at my last job. the supervisor is cool, is not the type to micromanage the team or blow a gasket if you screw up. one of the nicest things is that he did our job only a few months ago. the guys on the team that are not new to the job are 9 or more years younger then me. with is kind of weird.

life is as always busy. the kids keep me running all over the place. tonight my daughter is at a country music concert. but that is about all.

Motivation

i have a issue with motivation. especially at work right now. i have 3 days left at my job and i am not really motivated to push myself. i am how ever working later this week so that i can train one of my co-workers in one of my jobs.

i did talk to the other guy that i did work with the already went to the new job and he informs me that it is great so far. i cannot wait to go and start. i am hoping that they are willing to work with me on the schedule. i would like to continue to pick up the kids after school.

as a side note my son is in the church play this year, as Joseph again. this is his last year to be in the kids play, next year he goes into the teens group. so he has play practice tomorrow night so my daughter and i are going to have dinner together and hang out. just me and her, the way she likes it. i am even going to make chicken pot pie that she likes and her brother hates, lucky us.

well that is about all the news that i have for now.

Halloween

yesterday was halloween and i got dressed. i have not dressed up for halloween since i was like 10 years old. but last night i did. now i have to clarify that i did not get dressed up for halloween, i got dressed up for a movie. it was the plan for i and several of my co-workers to go and see the "Rocky Horror Picture Show". i have never seen it so this was a going to be a first for me. you may notice that i keep talking in the past tense. as it turned out the movie was not showing as expected. it did last year and the thought was that it would this year as well, but it did not. so i got dressed up as a woman. anyone that has seen the movie or, knows anything about it, knows that it has a lot of cross dressing in it. so there i am in fishnets a short pink skirt and green low cut sleeveless top with a black tank underneath. i am a long black wig on and lace black jacket. for the most part the close and the wig did not bother me, it was the bra that was unbearable. also i had a small black hand bag. i was suppose to have heels but could not find any in my size. i went in to work dressed the way and everyone that saw me thought it was very funny. i am pretty sure that this is the last time though that i dress up as a woman. so i got all dressed up and had nowhere to go. also as a closing remark i did also shave my legs. let the itchy growth begin.
