Date update

so the date on Saturday was great. we all had a lot of fun. it did however have it own issues. on friday night i called the lady i was taking out and let her know what was going on, because the situation had changed as to where and when and what we were doing. so when i showed up to get her and she was not there i was concerned. so i called her again. as it turns out she did not get my first voice mail on her phone. she checked her phone right before she was about to leave for Omaha. and that was when she got my message. so it all worked out ok.

on the date we went to a park and had a picnic and talked for a log time with the other couple. we then went and drew on the sidewalk with sidewalk chalk. it was fun. we then went and fed the geese the rest of the bread that we had from the sandwiches. a good time was had by all. i then took her home and the couple went there way and her and i stood in the parking lot of her complex for about 15 minutes talking. that was when i noticed that it was just after 3pm and i had to back in Omaha by 3:30, this was a 50 mile drive. so i left and made it to the place i was going by 3:50. and so that is what happened.

i tell you i had to do a lot of praying on the way to Lincoln and that morning and the night before. i was really stressed out over the whole thing. But God worked it out, and we all had fun and were encouraged.

Date

i have a date this afternoon.

and let me tell you i have been really stressed out this week. i had it set up as a double with a friend of mine. and i was trying to make the plans. i was working with a small margin for error, because i am also doing a movie in the park later this afternoon with another friend. then i come to find out the the lady i have a date with has a school activity in the morning until 11:30 in a town 50 miles away where she lives. so now my window for a successful date is cut down to roughly 3 hours.

then to top all of that the friend that i am suppose to double with flaked on me and has yet to return my calls. so i found, after many calls, another double. a married couple in the same town she is in. so know all the plans that i made this last week of making lunch and going to the museum are no longer feasible. so now it is a picnic in the park and sidewalk caulk. i hope it all turns out.

any way i know it will be a great time for all of us. and with that i must now go and finish getting ready. i have to leave in about 15 minutes. i will update you when i get a chance.

well i am done with school. i got my diploma the other day in the mail. i opted not to walk. sorry i have not been around much, not had a lot to talk about and been really busy.

i know you are all asking whats new. well i am now at the Pal for a year and i am graduated, thus i am looking for a new job. the kids have started school again. i now have a daughter in high school and a my son is in middle school. and i am getting old. i took my daughter out sunday morning at 1 am to TP. it was fun. my hair is very long by now. but i am going to get it cut very soon (looking for a job and all). been to a few concerts this year and have some new favorite bands. otherwise not a lot to say right at the moment, but i will be around a little more often.
